Only customers with 'VIP' tag can purchase Collection A products

Only customers with the ‘VIP’ tag can purchase products from Collection A. When customers without the VIP tag try to checkout with products from Collection A in their cart, an alert message will be displayed.

  1. Create new rule → Click “Create New Rule” button
  2. Configure basic information
    • Title (example): “Collection A VIP exclusive”
    • Alert message (example): “This product is exclusive to VIP members”

Enter the following in the condition settings screen:

  • Condition 1
    • Condition type: Cart total quantity
    • Operator: greater than or equal to
    • Value: 1
    • Product Scope: Specific products in cart
      • Condition type: Product Collection
      • Operator: includes
      • Value: Collection A
  • Condition 2
    • Condition type: Customer tags
    • Operator: contains none of
    • Value: VIP

By combining the two conditions with AND logic, the order limits applies when “Collection A products 1 or more AND no VIP tag”.

What this means: When products from Collection A exist in the cart and the customer doesn’t have the VIP tag, the order limits condition is met and checkout will be blocked.

  1. Save rule → After entering all settings, save the rule
  2. Activate → Click “Set active” button to start the limits

  • Strengthen customer loyalty - Improve satisfaction through exclusivity
  • Maximize sales - Increase average order value through premium products
