Limit purchases under $10

Limits checkout when the cart total amount is $10 or less. When shipping fees, discounts, and other adjustments bring the final order total to $10 or less, customers will see an alert at checkout and cannot complete the order.

  1. Create new rule → Click “Create New Rule” button
  2. Configure basic information
    • Title (example): “Minimum order amount over $10”
    • Alert message (example): “Please place orders for amounts greater than $10.”

For details, please refer to How to Set Up Order Limits.

Enter the following in the condition settings screen:

  • Condition 1
    • Condition type: Cart total amount
    • Operator: less than or equal to
    • Value: 10
    • Product Scope: All products in cart

The settings will look like this image: Condition settings screen

What this means: Because this recipe uses the “Cart total amount” condition, checkout is blocked when the final order amount including shipping and discounts is $10 or less. If you need to limit based on product subtotal only, choose the “Cart subtotal amount” condition instead.

  1. Save rule → After entering all settings, save the rule
  2. Activate → Click “Set active” button to start the limits
